Check out the bugs, cast a fly rod with a guide and learn where, when and how to fly fish the Tahoe Area! Your guide from Tahoe Fly Fishing Outfitters will take you on a walk to see some of the local habitat, some aquatic insects and hopefully a fish or two. This is a non fishing opportunity to get a taste of the sustainability of wild trout in the Tahoe Basin.

Itinerary
10:00am - Assemble @ Tahoe Fly Fishing Outfitters
10:15am – 10 minute talk at the shop
10:30am – Walk to Trout Creek along the bike path and into the Trout Creek Meadow, cast fly rods, and look for bugs and trout.
12:00pm - Return to TFFO or continue toBijouPark
12:30pm - End @ Tahoe Fly Fishing Outfitters

Participation fee: $20 (includes rod rental)
Bio: Dan Ring started fly fishing when he moved to South Lake Tahoe over 10 years ago from San Diego. Since then he has expanded his fly fishing knowledge and experience all over the Lake Tahoe Basin, and the Sierras. He decided to change his life by focusing his career to fly fishing, by attending Clark Fork Fly Fishing Outfitters Guide School in Montana, and working at Tahoe Fly Fishing Outfitters. He has discovered his passion in fly fishing by guiding and instructing people of all ages and experience levels.
